T-shirt Quilt Class (4 session class)
T- shirt quilts are a great way to preserve memories of life experiences.
T-shirt quilts can be made with or without sashing but should have at least one border to help with the stability of the blocks.
Come learn how to mark, stabilize, cut, arrange and sew a T-shirt quilt top. There will be some homework.

Skill Details:
Know how to operate your sewing machine and sew a 1/4" seam allowance. Basic rotary cutting skills.
Materials Included:

Requirements:
Sewing machine in working order not needed the first session. T-shirts [10-20] washed with no sizing added. 12 1/2" Square ruler or larger. Rotary cutter with new blade. Stabilizer available at the shop. Border fabric purchased by session three. White chalk fabric marker and fabric marking pen. Basic sewing supplies including pins and scissors. Applique pressing cloth for any vinyl T-shirts available at the shop. Wool pressing mat (optional).
